“Like family” is a pretty nice way to feel when you visit the dentist. This is one of the reasons Clark County families have been coming to Wendel Family Dental Centre for generations. We make dental care comfortable with modern techniques, flexible appointments, convenient locations and a staff that treats you like family. Over forty years of experience and a highly tenured team, has allowed us to build long term relationships with many of our patients.

Roger J. Wendel, D.M.D.
School: University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine
Year Graduated: 1969
Bio: After earning his degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Wendel established his family practice in Vancouver, Washington. His goal is to achieve excellence in professional care, represented in a manner that reflects the utmost respect and consideration for the patient. For over 40 years, this philosophy has allowed Wendel Family Dental Centre to become a leading provider of quality dental care in Clark County, and has earned Dr. Wendel a reputation that has reached beyond Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Wendel is licensed to perform IV moderate sedation.
Matthew A. Haehlen, D.M.D.
School: Oregon Health Sciences University
Year Graduated: 1983
Hire Date: 01/01/1995
Bio: Dr. Haehlen was raised in the local metropolitan area. He is a graduate of George Fox University, and completed his doctoral degree at the University of Oregon Dental School in 1983.
He has traveled extensively for a non profit dental service prior to coming on staff at Wendel Family Dental Centre in 1995. Dr. Haehlen is also on staff at the Clark College Hygiene School and the Vancouver Skill Center. In addition to all aspects of general dentistry, he focuses on dentures and partial dentures. Dr. Haehlen is also licensed to provide intravenous moderate sedation.
Dr. Haehlen and his wife are proud parents and grandparents.
Kristine H Pham, D.M.D.
School: Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine
Year Graduated: 2001
Hire Date: 08/14/2001
Bio: Dr. Kris Pham started out her career as a dental hygienist. She received her Bachelor of Science from Oregon Health Science University School of Dentistry and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She enjoys all facets of general and cosmetic dentistry, and is licensed to perform IV moderate sedation. Dr. Kris Pham speaks fluent English and Vietnamese.
Donald Lunt, D.D.S.
School: Loma Linda University
Year Graduated: 1968
Hire Date: 12/27/2005
Bio: Dr. Lunt graduated in 1968 from Loma Linda University. He spent two years in the airforce as a Dental Officer in North Dakota. He returned to a small community in Northern California where he then moved to Bellingham, Washington and practiced dentistry for eighteen years. He then moved to Vancouver, Washington to be close to his family and has been with Wendel Family Dental Centre since 2005.
Dr. Lunt practices all phases of general dentistry, is licensed to perform IV moderate sedation, and in the last eight years has done advanced training in endodontics.
Phat Ly, D.M.D.
School: Temple University School of Dentistry
Year Graduated: 2004
Hire Date: 11-06-2006
Bio: Dr. Phat Ly was raised in Portland Oregon. He went to Oregon State University. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry and moved back to the Northwest. Dr. Ly has had extensive cosmetic and sedation training, and is licensed to perform IV moderate sedation. He focuses on cosmetic, sedation, and family dentistry.
His time out of the office is filled by spending time with his wife, daughter, traveling, and golfing.
Frederick Ganji, D.D.S.
School: Ohio State University Dental School
Year Graduated: 1998
Hire Date: 2/1/2005
Bio: Dr. Ganji graudated from the Ohio State University Dental School in 1998 and has been practicing dentistry with Wendel Family Dental Centre since 2005. He is a general dentist, and has a particular interest in implant related dentistry. Dr. Ganji is committed to continuing education and continuous improvement. In the last two years alone, he has pursued advanced training in TMJ therapies, complex treatment planning, esthetic dental artistry, laser dentistry, sedation dentistry, and implant dentistry. Dr. Ganji practices by three philosophies; draw not distinctions between work and fun, pursue excellence, and treat people the way they want to be treated.
When not enjoying dentistry, Dr. Ganji likes to fish, hike, and spend time with his family.
Michael Sparrow, D.M.D.
School: OHSU School of Dentistry
Year Graduated: 2012

Bio:Dr. Sparrow, a native of the Pacific Northwest, grew up in McMinnville, Oregon. He completed his undergraduate degree at Oregon State University and went on to complete his doctoral degree at the OHSU School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sparrow spent many hours in his father’s dental lab gaining an appreciation for the artistic side of dentistry and ultimately healthy brighter smiles. He believes in a patient centered practice by treating his patient’s like family and providing clinical excellence with a gentle touch.
Outside of the office Dr. Sparrow enjoys life with his wife and children. Dr. Sparrow is always up for a game of basketball or relaxing with a good book.”
